About Me

Hello:


My name is Marilyn. I am a retired medical transcriptionist and live in a small town in the mountains between the San Joaquin Valley and the Mojave desert in Southern California. I have two horses, three cats and a toy Australian Shepard. I very much love to entertain, tablescape and cook.


I am new to blogging and have cut my teeth on faithfully following; Between Naps on the Porch, Confessions of a Plate Addict, Home Is Where the Boat Is and Stone Gable. I find I am totally hooked.


If I go back to where this might have started, I would have to say my mother and grandmother, as they both set beautiful tables and were wonderful cooks.


I have a home on Mulberry Street, complete with a white picket fence, that I love to remodel and decorate, hence the Mulberry in Mulberries and Lace.
